Notes:
- Assault on the Phantom's Treasure in Charlton #60 was first published as Assalto al tesoro dell'Ombra by Fratelli Spada of Italy in L'Uomo Mascherato - Avventure Americane Nuova Serie #10 (7 May 1967), with art by Mario Pedrazzi. The story was also printed in Fantomen Nr.17/1969 as The Diabolical Plan, edited and with some art re-done by Bertil Wilhelmsson.
- A Dead Man's Promise in Charlton #61 was first published as E giustizia trionfò by Fratelli Spada of Italy in L'Uomo Mascherato - Avventure Americane Nuova Serie #37 (12 Nov 1967), with art by Santi D'Amico. The story was completely re-made by Janne Lundström (script) and Rolf Gohs (art) as The Earthquake, printed in Fantomen Nr.11/1970 (Sweden).
- The Trap in Charlton #62 was first published as La trappola by Fratelli Spada of Italy in L'Uomo Mascherato - Avventure Americane Nuova Serie #1 (5 Mar 1967), with art by Mario Pedrazzi.
- The River Pirates in Charlton #63 was first published as I pirati del fiume by Fratelli Spada of Italy in L'Uomo Mascherato - Avventure Americane Nuova Serie #5 (2 Apr 1967) with art by Mario Pedrazzi.
- Demetrio Sanchez is a Spanish artist who sometimes also worked for the Italian market. It is assumed that he drew The Shining City directly for Charlton because it was not published by Fratelli Spada of Italy, unlike the stories in #60-#63.
